Funds

Donations to the Conservation Fund help directly support IPS conservation initiatives including grants to support development of primate conservation field projects. The Conservation Committee of IPS also supports the Pre-Congress Training Program for primatologists from around the world.

Donations to the General Fund help directly support IPS initiatives in research, education and captive care. Each year IPS funds several theoretically oriented research grants from students, educational opportunities, and captive care initiatives.

The Heritage Fund is a mechanism for larger donations to IPS. This is an endowed fund and interest on the Heritage Fund will augment the Society’s ability to fund student related projects in research and education.

For the past several years we have been able to give out $40,000 in support. Your donations will allow us to provide additional support for these activities.

Additional information on all these initiatives can be found on the IPS website under IPS Activities.
